John Walton - Sales and Marketing Manager

John has worked with Datatrac since 2007.  He has an in-depth knowledge of all of Datatrac's products and the operational and financial benefits they bring to Datatrac customers.

John left the Royal Navy in 2007 as a Warrant Officer 1st Class after 30 years.  He initially trained as an Electrical Engineer but after 14 years transferred to the Operations branch where he was involved in personnel and project management.  John predominantly served on submarines but his last sea going position was on a Type 23 Frigate to implement a new Resource Management System being rolled out to the fleet.  He has a sound working knowledge of the mechanical and electrical systems on board ships and submarines and has a high standard of computer literacy.  John is based in Brisbane, Australia giving Datatrac a presence in the Southern Hemisphere.
