Jonathan Stearman – Support Manager
After 22yrs service in the Royal Navy, Jonathan left as a Chief Engineer.  A technically skilled manager and system engineer, Jonathan has a wealth of leadership and management experience. He is experienced in a broad range of engineering systems and has wide ranging skills in project management and software engineering.  With an a advanced knowledge of computer operation and various programming languages, he has tested, developed and implemented various programs for Datatrac.

  John Walton - Installation Engineer

John left the Royal Navy as a Warrant Officer 1st Class after 30 years.  He initially trained as an Electrical Engineer but after 14 years transferred to the Operations branch where he was involved in Personnel and Project management.  John predominantly served on submarines but his last sea going position was on Type 23 Frigate as Project Manager for a new IT Resource Management System being rolled out to the fleet.  He has a sound working knowledge of the mechanical and electrical systems on board ships and submarines and has a high standard of computer literacy being accredited to Microsoft Certified System Administrator standard. Jon is based in Brisbane, Australia and this gives Datatrac a presence in the Southern Hemisphere.

Steve Jennings - Installation Engineer

Steve Jennings served for 24 years in the Royal Navy as an electronics engineer. Initially trained as a RADAR and Computer maintainer he completed his career as a Chief Engineer in a managerial role as head of a sub-department, responsible for ensuring the maximum availability and optimum performance of the ships communications, sonar, radar, computer and passive sensing equipment.

After leaving the Royal navy he became the Technical Manager for Datatrac Ltd and was responsible for the technical development of many of the Datatrac products.

He now works as a self employed installation engineer within the maritime industry.
